Hi Dance Family,
I hope you have been having a wonderful Term. I recently caught up with all of my phenomenal teachers who were ecstatic to tell me all about the great friendships beginning to form, the confidence growing and the incredible tricks, skills and goals that our students are achieving.
As my team and I have checked in with many of our families it is wonderful to hear that so many of you are really enjoying your time here with us at Royal Existence.
Many exciting things are just around the corner (including the arrival of those uniforms you’ve been waiting for… hang in there!) and most are highlighted below.

Easter Weekend
The studio will be CLOSED from Good Friday to Easter Sunday on April 2nd-4th. Classes will be back to normal on Monday 5th of April.
Please let us know if you are planning on being away on Monday 5th so that we can pass this information onto our teachers.
Term 2
The last lot of classes for Term 1 will be on Saturday 10th of April.
Term 2 will commence on Monday 19th of April.
For Term 2 all of the classes your students are currently enrolled in will roll over automatically. If you wish to make any changes to classes or enrol in a few more, please let us know either via email or come see us in the office and we can get things sorted as soon as possible.
Tuition for Term 2 will be posted to accounts this Monday coming, statements sent out to your email and will be due before the first day of term unless you have enrolled in Autopay.

Holiday program
Needing a break over the school holidays? We will entertain your child while you enjoy that much deserved coffee break.
From Monday to Wednesday we have Dance & Craft workshops running for our 2-5year olds, 6-8year olds and Dance & Film sessions for our 9-15 year olds.

SeaBreeze Festival
We have requested a time slot and are waiting to hear back from the organisers as to when Royal Existence will be performing at SeaBreeze Festival, May 7-8. Performance students part of Elite and Crews will be performing.
We also are introducing a new team called “Royal X All In”.
Royal X All In
“Royal X All In” is a great opportunity for your child to experience performing in a team, grow in confidence and have fun performing at the SeaBreeze festival in front of friends, family and the Darwin community. This is a great opportunity for your child to experience performing in a team without the pressure of competitions or a long term commitment.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Any student attending Royal X may join.
- Students must be age 6-18yrs.
- Students must own a Royal X uniform shirt as this will be what the student wears to perform in, along with black leggings, black shoes and hair pulled back and hair-sprayed off face.
- Students must attend all rehearsals.
- $40 participation fee (paid in cash or by card at the studio on or before the first lesson).
REHEARSALS:
- Saturday April 24th 4pm – 5pm
- Saturday May 1st 4pm – 5pm
- Friday May 7th – time TBC, before performance at Seabreeze festival
- Saturday May 8th – time TBC, before performance at Seabreeze festivalPerformance date: May 7th or 8th
Royal X Debut
Debut is our Elite and Crew students debut performance before our competition season kicks off, a chance for all dancers to perform, have full support from their peers and receive formal feedback from their teachers. Debut was designed to be a chance for all the RoyalX family to view the competition routines they might not get to see otherwise in the 2021 competition season. As well as this, Debut is an opportunity for our performance teams to raise money that will go towards team building activities and future Nationals Competition Trips.
