During January 2-12 we took a team of dancers down to the Gold Coast to represent Royal Existence at the Evolution National Dance Competition. Congratulations to all of our dancers, you represented us beautifully on and off stage.

Private Lessons
Do you have a student who would love to hit the stage for competition this year? Would they like to perform a solo/duo in their favourite style of dance and represent Royal Existence?
Performance can be a wonderful way of extending your child’s dance training, it gives them one on one time with their teacher to expand and improve upon their skills and gives them the confidence to get up on stage in front of an audience.

International Dance Technique
Our Studio is now using the IDT syllabus for Jazz, AcroLink for Acrobatics classes and BodyLab program for Accelerate classes. Needless to say both our teachers and students are loving the new program as it gets both their bodies and minds working. The examiner notes are extremely helpful as students learn how to self-correct as they work to hone their skills and foundations.
READY SET DANCE PROGRAM
At the start of this year our Teachers received training and their READY SET DANCE accreditation. We had lots of fun learning the new dances that soon will be taught to our Preschoolers!
Our students have been loving their READY SET DANCE and READY SET BALLET classes. Last week during “What’s In the Box” our teachers put their phones inside and our little dancers were pleasantly surprised to see their own faces staring back!
NEW DanceStep Program
At Royal Existence Dance Academy we are very excited to announce we are now a registered affiliate studio and member of the DanceStep program. Offered in partnership with studio teachers, DanceStep empowers students to take care of others and guides them to be leaders and role models. The program covers assistant teaching skills such as behaviour management, different learning needs and styles, Safe Dance Principles and Anatomy to name just a few. These concepts are broken down to be taught in a sequential and age appropriate way to children from ten or eleven years of age. Whether students are considering a career in dance teaching or otherwise, the DanceStep program is a great preparation for many aspects of life.

Car Parking
For the safety of our students walking into classes and out of respect for the other tenants in the complex, we ask that everyone please park in the cul-de-sac. We encourage the “Kiss ‘n’ Ride” arrangement with your children. If you do park in the venue you will be asked to re-park in the cul de sac.
Uniform
Royal X Uniforms have been ordered! As we enter the waiting period while our beautiful uniforms from Activated Industry are being designed and printed, we ask that all students still wear dance clothes appropriate to the genre of dance class you are enrolled in, and wearing studio colours.
